Mechanic saves vintage Mustang from being totaled after it rolls out of the workshop for just inches to spare. A hero mechanic saved a runaway vintage Mustang from being totaled in the nick of time.Heart-stopping surveillance video shows the man rolling the valuable vehicle for his workshop. But as he walks away, the open-doored classic car starts to roll backwards. Luckily, the technician turns around and sees the auto wheeling its own way out. He runs and jumps into the car — and slams the door shut before it is ripped off by the wall. Then, he pulls up the emergency brake — milliseconds before the Mustang plows into a row of parked cars.
