Media Advisory: WHAT: Magpul Top Cop Challenge WHO: Police Officers from eight regional jurisdictions will compete in Kentucky Speedways second Magpul Top Cop Challenge in NASCAR Racing Experience stock cars. Officers representing the City of Cincinnati; Butler Co., Ohio; Hamilton Co., Ohio; City of Newport, Ky.; City of Lexington, Ky.; Gallatin Co., Ky.; Oldham Co., Ky. and the Kentucky State Police will participate in a two-officer team competition that will ultimately determine three officers who will have the chance to become Magpul Top Cop. WHEN: Thursday, May 15, 9:30 a.m. 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Arrival and drawing 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Safety instruction by NASCAR Racing Experience professionals (mandatory) 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. First round (team competition) timed laps 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Final shoot out (three fastest TOs from first round) 12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m. Magpul Top Cop Challenge awards presentation 12:15 p.m. – Lunch sponsored by Magpul - catered by Jewell’s On Main WHERE: Kentucky Speedway, 1 Speedway Drive, Sparta, Ky., 41086 WHY: The event will support Police Memorial Week.
