Media Release Archive Three pedestrians hit by car - St Peters Tuesday, 25 November 2014 08:40:18 PM Police are appealing for witnesses after three people were hit by a car in Sydney’s inner west today. Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, St Peters, about 5.30pm (Tuesday 25 November 2014). Police have been told a car collided with three people – two women, aged 23 and 24, and a 24-year-old man – as they were crossing the highway at the intersection with Bishop Street. The 23-year-old woman sustained a serious head injury; the other woman has facial injuries. The man has cuts to a leg and arm. They have all been taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car, a 31-year-old man, was not injured. He has been taken Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing. Police from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. They would like to speak with any witnesses who have not already been interviewed by police.
