Moloney Community/Media Relations Manager, 352-797-3609 Re: Armed Robbery - CVS - 12990 Cortez Boulevard Date: September 4, 2014 On 09-03-14 at approximately 1:14 p.m., the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding an Armed Robbery at the CVS pharmacy located at 12990 Cortez Boulevard in Spring Hill. A white male (possibly Hispanic), armed with a handgun, entered the CVS and proceeded to the pharmacy. Once at the pharmacy, the suspect demanded prescription pills. The suspect left the store on foot, possibly heading southbound on Mariner Boulevard behind the store. The suspect description is as follows: • White or Hispanic Male • Height - 5’10” to 6’ • Weight – 220 – 240 • Hair – Dark (short) • Blue Jeans • White T-shirt • Bright yellow reflective vest • White dust mask If you have information on this case or know the identity/location of this suspect, please contact Detective Brent Stent at 352-754-6830.
