Media centre Commercial Filming/Photography Requests Permission must be obtained by Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) for any photography or filming activities on or around the airport site at least 7 days in advance. Charges for these activities are as follows: Landside Areas - Any area in and around the terminal prior to security and passport control: Car parks Terminal forecourt Road ways Check-in halls Food areas Still photography & sound recording £100.00 per hour Filming £200.00 per hour Airside Areas - All areas which require security clearance including: Departures lounge Airside eating areas Business lounges Aircraft boarding area (Apron) Baggage reclaim Still photography & sound recording £200.00 per hour Filming £300.00 per hour A further charge of £100 per escort will be made for every 4 hours (or part thereof). Any work (Landside or Airside) undertaken outside the hours of 0900-1700 Monday-Friday or during Bank Holidays will incur a 50% surcharge Charges can be paid for by credit card or an invoice can be arranged. Terms & Conditions: 1.Requests for filming must be submitted in writing to the LBIA communications team at least 7 days in advance. 2. Film crew and photographers will be escorted at all times by an allocated LBIA staff member and is subject to availability. 3. For airside filming, 1 escort per 6 people is required for security reasons. 4. LBIA reserve the right to deny filming requests without explanation and to cancel or curtail filming and photography without prior notice. 5. Where applicable, the producer/director will provide the airport with a copy of the script that will be used in the airport scene in advance of the filming/photography taking place. 6. Under no circumstances must any security/restricted area be filmed. 7. Even if permission has been granted by LBIA communications team – filming must not commence until the escort is present. 8. Health and safety requirements must be complied with at all times. A full risk assessment must be undertaken by the film/photography company and submitted in advance to Leeds Bradford International Airport. 9. A copy of your insurance policy must be submitted. For high risk activities, there must be £10 million of cover; for low risk, £5 million is required. 10. For airside activities, all visitors must carry valid and in date photographic ID with them at all times 11. Customers/staff may not be filmed or interviewed without prior written permission from LBIA. 12. Branding and signage of business partners and airlines must not be filmed without the permission of the operator concerned. 13. The start and end times for any activity must be agreed in advance with LBIA and must be strictly adhered to. To make a request for filming or photography, complete the following document and submit it to LBIA communications team at least 7 days before your preferred date.
