We have an opening for a Float Pool Medical Assistant/Receptionist to work at our employer health center located in Columbus, GA. Our professional clinics are located within a community retail store and staffed 363 days a year. This position will work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the population. The schedule will be every other weekend Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-6pm. There would also be an opportunity to work an eight hour shift on Fridays. (16-24 hrs every other weekend) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required Commitment to concepts of preventative health care programs and team approach to health care delivery Three(3) to five (5) years of experience preferred Intermediate computer skills required; EMR experience preferred Pediatric and/or Family Practice experience preferred Knowledge of front office procedures including scheduling and accepting co payments Phlebotomy and lab experience required Current CPR certification required Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required Additional Company Information We offer excellent benefits to eligible employees, including 401(k) and profit sharing plans, holidays, vacations and more.
