Medical Assistant for Family Practice (Villa Rica) 403 Permian Way, Suite A compensation: Commensurate with training & experience MA/Medical Assistant Certified needed for Health Practice (Villa Rica) Medical Assistant needed for busy family health practice office. Candidates must be very organized, personable, pleasant, punctual, professional, efficient and reliable. Appropriate candidates ONLY please email your resume and cover letter. MUST have worked MINIMUM 1 year in the medical field AND have experience with EMR, preferably eClinical Works. GRITS experience is a plus. MUST be able to administer immunizations. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provide primary care to patients - Pre-authorizations and pre-cert surgeries and procedures - Conduct patient interviews - Order labs, e-prescribe - Collect and interpret diagnostic data - Document delivery of care in patient medical records - Provide patient education - Perform related responsibilities as required - Schedule appointments and surgeries - MA will collaborate with the Medical Doctor in the management of patients and follow-up care Qualifications: - Previous experience in family medicine for 1 year required - Graduate from an accredited school - Current Medical Assistants Certification, CPR and current Georgia License - Experience in a health care setting Shifts Needed Monday through Friday 8:30am -- 5:30pm.
