Meet Carson! Carsons story is sure to tug at your heart strings because he was used as a bait dog in a dog fighting ring. He was found tied to a tree and his whole body was covered with bite marks. His teeth were filed down so that he couldnt fight back. Despite his horrible start in life he in now thriving with his foster mom. She has been working diligently to help him overcome his fears. After being traumatized at young age Carson is still afraid of crates and doesnt like being confined in rooms. Carson is about 5 years old and a snuggly lap dog who loves to be babied. He is good with cats and would do best with a dog buddy to keep him company. He likes kids but would do best with older ones who know how to handle a special guy. Carson has been using a slow kill treatment for his heart worm positive condition and will be getting checked again soon! Carson would like someone who is home with him often and could give him lots of love and attention. Look at that sweet face! How could you ever say no?
