Meet Ed Shockley - Production Manager for Southern Strapping Systems On Eds third day with Southern Bracing, he traveled to Switzerland to learn about the strapping manufacturing process - and Southern Strapping Systems was born. He is the primary person responsible for the production, testing and quality for all Southern Strapping Systems products. Eds attention to detail ensures that all strapping is consistent and certified by the AAR before it leaves our manufacturing facility. Ed came to Southern Strapping Systems after retiring from the US Army as a Master Sargeant in Communications. His time serving our country taught him a great deal that he now uses as production manager. According to Ed, one of the top things he learned in the Army that he uses everyday...The words I cant were taken out of his vocabulary.
