Meet Ellen Phillips – Senior Typist for the Information & Instructional Technology Department Ellen describes the IIT department as a close-knit team. “I know these guys,” she says. “This group of people really looks out for each other and we are here to help. I don’t think people really understand that we’re here to help and that’s our job.” Of Ellen’s work with IIT, microcomputer specialist Bob Sherman says, “Ellen is part of the vital core of the IIT department at ICSD. She is often the voice of the department and our ‘first impression’ with vendors, community, and staff and represents the district well. Her patience, good nature and compassion for all the people that we serve in the district helps us to keep a grounded perspective in an environment that can be frenetic and challenging at times. We couldnt do it without her.”
