Meet Freddie, he is a wonderful, sweet, and humble soul. We met him at Lincoln Park a few months ago. Since we have moved into our new home he has worked tirelessly, and volunteered many hours to make Beacon a more beautiful and inviting place for our guests. Freddie is still currently homeless, and you can find him most days organizing in the clothing room. It was brought to our attention that Freddies glasses were in bad shape to say the least... They were being held together with tape, the lenses were scratched and Freddie never complained. One of the other guys actually asked for him if there was anyone who could help... We contacted Dr Gottlieb in Lakewood, and he didnt hesitate to say yes! We took Freddie today, with tears in his eyes he was examined, and an order was placed for his new glasses. God is working in the hearts of so many... How fantastic that whole communities are rallying around people and this ministry. Thank you Dr. Gottlieb and staff! And thank you Freddie for all you do❤
