Meet Freemont! An adorable cat that was hit by a car and left for dead. Luck was on Freemont’s side and he ended up at LCHS. Unfortunately the damage to his front leg was so severe that we had to amputate. Staff and volunteers are working hard on helping Freemont learn how to walk with only three legs – he even has a special monkey toy with that also has a missing leg so he doesn’t feel so alone. He’s our superstar and is doing GREAT! When you donate to LCHS you allow us to never be forced to make a decision based on the financial cost of a procedure. We are halfway through the day and our Take a Pup to Lunch Day is going strong! Let’s keep up on the momentum!!
