Meet Guy Thomas, Masterchef. He is of Anglo-Swiss background. he grew up in a family with a special flare for food - among many other things. His home featured numerous dinner parties, large picnics, cultural events and gatherings with an emphasis on fine cuisine and wines. He became passionate about the world of gastronomy from an early age and spent my entire student life working in the restaurant and catering business as well as grape-picking in the Burgundy region. It was during that period that he found out more about the true meaning of culinary delight in its entire breadth. Be it dipping your fingers into a common pot of simple food with a group of fellow eaters or delving into an illustrious meal with several courses and a rich assortment of cutlery and crockery, every meal becomes an adventure! His studies in history and anthropology have driven him further to learn something about the ritual meaning, the creative origins and the great traditions of preparing dishes from around the world. In essence, food to him is a unique combination of experimentalism, pleasure and togetherness that he enjoys sharing with people around him who treasure the simple truth that food is not a basic must but rather a privilege for us to cherish!
