Meet Jet Blue flight attendant Joe. This guy and Jet Blue hope - TopicsExpress

Meet Jet Blue flight attendant Joe. This guy and Jet Blue hope this doesnt go viral, so lets disappoint them. Ive currently got a torn up right knee and permanently disabled left knee, amongst a couple other injuries, and my wife and I flew Jet Blue tonight from Washington D.C. to Orlando. The flight was probably 50% full, if that, and upon boarding, I asked Joe if we could switch seats after verifying all were on board. He said it wouldnt be a problem and explained that the front row, left and right, were off limits. We sat down briefly, as we were among the last on. Our seats were the ones in FRONT of the emergency exit, so not only very little leg room, but also no reclining back. As soon as Joe shut the door, we moved to the completely empty row BEHIND the emergency exit, as the leg room was greater and the seats reclined. The leg room is really helpful for my knees and seeing as there were at least 50 other empty seats, nobody paid any attention or cared one bit. Except for Joe. Joe came over and told me, with attitude, that there were empty seats in the back of the plane. I told him that the ones we were in had been empty too, and I was a disabled veteran that could use the extra legroom. Joe tells me, again with disdain thick in his delivery, that these seats cost extra and we needed to sit back in the seats that we were assigned since the seats in the back werent good enough, and the seats we currently occupied were for people who had paid more. I stood up and said This is ridiculous and we started to go back to our original seats. He loudly parroted me with a resounding Ridiculous!. If his goal was to antagonize me, it worked. I let him know, in one short sentence, without raising my voice, what I thought about him, and then sat down in my assigned seat next to my wife. Joe knelt beside me, with a red face and furrowed eye brow, and says Im about to kick you off this flight. I replied with Go away before you piss me off. Im in my seat. His response was to get closer to my face, and tell me again that hell kick me off in a heartbeat. My wife, who has had more than enough at this point, said Please just go away, its over. We did what you asked. He stormed back to the front of the plane. After a turbulent but otherwise uneventful, miserably uncomfortable short flight (to top it off, the guy in front of me reclined all the way back for the entire flight), we stood up and gathered our carry-ons. As we walked by him while exiting, I took these two pictures and asked for his last name so I could file a formal complaint. He became enraged and with a quivering lip and twitchy eyes (Im not exaggerating, it was caricature-like) he yelled You do NOT want to be on the no fly list buddy, believe me! We walked off the plane, down the tunnel, into the terminal, and found the nearest Jet Blue agent. After being dismissed repeatedly by a supervisor, Joe walked up, still throwing a fit, and demanded that I be put on a no fly list and the cops be called. The supervisor tells us to leave or the cops would be called. We leave. But, not before promising that this would hit social media, and with any luck, the public would feel like sharing. Well never fly Jet Blue or their affiliates again, assuming we can even fly again if they actually follow through on the no-fly thing. Well see. In the meantime, please spread this like wildfire. Share and tag as many vets and patriots as you know.
