Meet Joshua! He is about 15,1/15.2 hh. Big bodied Arab. Rescued out of a kill pen. The lady that rescued had to move to the East coast, and now this boy needs a forever home. I think he really wants to bond with someone. I went and played with him today to see if he might be good for my 9yr old. I actually think he could be, but I dont have the time to put a bunch of rides on him to get him there as the only time I have to ride at this point is to condition my mare a few days a week. I played with Joshua in the round pen today, not spooky or jumpy AT ALL. Used the flag on him waved it and twirled it above his head, over the top of his back, around his feet...he just does not care at all!! Easy going guy. I even rode him today. He was a little nervous but settled right in. Rode him in a hackamore, W/T/C and stops when you ask. I think he has been passed around as he is a little offish, but not mean in any way, not a mean bone in his entire body. I think he wants to be lovey, but needs his own person. Could be absolutely amazing for endurance as he is such a brave boy! Let me know if you are interested, PM me and I will put you in contact with the person who is keeping him right now.
