Meet Max, a sweet 2 year old German Shepherd Mix. Max was saved in the 11th hour from NYCACC , when his time was up. Max had spent 3 months in the shelter, which is a record, as many dogs do not last 5 days before they go on the dreaded euth list. There must have been something special about Max, that helped him survive. While he waited in the shelter his behavior started to deteriorate, he went from a average dog, who scored great on all parts of his evaluation, to a very stressed out frustrated, jumpy dog, who needed to get out. Thanks to an angel, a foster home, who stepped up for Max, he is alive today, and his foster dad can not say enough praises about what an amazing and sweet dog Max is. Max is so loving, and has a great temperamant. He loves to snuggle, and run and play. Max is good with other dogs, he would probably be best with a female dog with a medium energy level.
