Meet Ryan Jackson. He is majoring in geomatics engineering at Cal State Fresno and is interning as a land technician with PG&Es Land Engineering and Support Department. To some, working with surveying equipment in order to obtain electrical wire elevations on transmission utility poles, which requires performing complex calculations in the field, might prove to be a daunting task, but it suits Jackson’s solution-oriented mindset.
