Meet Sara. Sara was given to us by a very nice man who saved her from Craigs list just a few days ago. He was happy to know that Doxie Tales would have Sara spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and most importantly, find her a wonderful home. Sara is absolutely beautiful and as sweet as they come! Now, I have to tell you the funniest story ever..... Pete and I just got Sara Wednesday evening. She had terrible diarrhea and was very frightened. We gave her some tummy meds and special food and waited. Runny, Runny, Runny, Runny. (Just, FYI - diarrhea is very common is stressed dogs.) Come on Sara.... give me a solid poop girl! Sara will be fostered by Julia, but she is staying with me over the weekend. She will go to the vet Monday for her spay, vaccines, microchip, etc., and then off to Julias for healing and loving! I was anxious for Julia to meet her so we stopped by for an introduction today. As soon as we walked in, Sara started exploring. Julia and I were sitting on the sofa chatting. A few minutes later, Mike, Julias husband, came inside. We heard him say.... Sara pooped in the hallway. Julia and I jumped up to examine it and cheered when we saw that SOLID tootsie rolll! Pretty sure Mike thought we were nuts! Sara is a female, black and tan, soft wirehair, 2 years old. She is gorgeous! She will be available for adoption next week. She is being fostered in N Central Florida.
