Meet Simone Singh of TV show #EkHasinaThi TV actress #SimoneSingh, who is currently playing the role of Sakshi Goenka was born on November 10, 1974 in Jamshedpur. The petite diva rose to fame with her acting debut with the television series Sea Hawks followed by a small role in Swabhimaan, in 1995. She played the title role in another popular television series Heena, which gave her wide recognition and was the highest rated show on Indian television at the time. When asked Simone, on how does she feel to play a negative character, she was quoted as saying As an actor I always want to challenge myself and do a variety of roles. In fact playing a negative character was one of the things that drew me towards the show because Ive never done something like this on TV. The role of Sakshi Goenka was very enticing as she is rich, powerful and dominating. It is a very fascinating role yet there is a dichotomy about her. There is a certain kind of mystic aura around her as everyone close to her is intimidated by her personality. She can do anything to safe guard her family and her softer side is only visible when her family is under threat.
