Meet Staff Sgt. Johnnie Yellock, a wounded warrior with AFSOC. Yellock was severely injured July 6, 2011, when his tactical vehicle hit an IED in Afghanistan. Doctors considered amputation below-the-knee, but he elected not to go that route. Instead, after numerous surgeries, Yellock today, can stand unassisted, walk, and even jog. Thanks in large part to the Wounded Warrior Program, Yellock had the opportunity to jump one last time with his original team before medically retiring in November.
