Meet Star the George Clooney of greyhounds with his very distinguished, handsome face and eyebrows. He was 8 years young in August and is 29 to the shoulder. Location: Living in Kennels in Norfolk. Key Points: Confident, loving, happy, quiet, extremely friendly, affectionate, calm, great on the lead and in the car. ~ Personality ~ Star’s character is a perfect reflection of his good looks as he is a lovely, confident, affectionate, extremely friendly and calm boy. If youre looking for a gorgeous boy to join your family then look no further! Star is a gorgeous boy who loves people and food! He is beautiful inside and out, very calm and so far seems to take everything in his stride. ~ In the Home ~ Star sadly hasnt had the chance to live in a home yet but keeps his kennels as sparkly clean as he possibly can so he should settle in a home with very little issue if he has a kind family to guide him. ~ Other Animals ~ Star has so far taken very little interest in other dogs and has been very calm in what can be a very noisy kennel environment. He prefers to be left alone and really isn’t keen on dogs that are too much in his face... He just enjoys the quiet life now! ~ Out and About ~ Star loves his walks and is beautifully behaved on the lead. He is also very good in the car. ~ Greyhounds as Pets ~ In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family environment, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the retired. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers. ~ Where Can I Live? ~ We feel Star would suit most homes as he seems to take pretty much everything in his stride and he will learn very quickly with the help of lots of treats! We also feel that Star would prefer to be a single dog in the right home with someone around the majority of the time. Please be aware that we do not home dogs to families with children under 8 years of age. ~ Where Am I? ~ Star is currently living in kennels in Norfolk. He can be homed anywhere in the UK provided we have a home checker available, but please note that you will be required to travel to Norfolk to meet and collect him. ~ Want To Adopt Me? ~ Star will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flead and wormed and a home check will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
