Meet our dealers: Pana Musica, Japan facebook/Pana.Musica.International Pana Musica is located in Kyoto, Japan, and was founded in 1986 at a time when sheet music of foreign publishers was still hard to obtain in Japan. Today Pana Musica is one of the largest suppliers of choral music worldwide. With a workforce of 30 employees Pana Musica provides music for choirs all over Japan, from neighbouring Asian countries, but even from far away countries such as South Africa, Lithuania and Australia to name just a few. In addition to this emphasis on choral music they also deal with all other kinds of repertoire including piano music. The founder and owner of Pana Musica, Kentaro Yoshida: “In 2011 I founded the association “Harmony for JAPAN” (HfJ) which supports choral activities in the region damaged by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in the Northern parts of Japan. HfJ organizes charity concerts, commissions new choral works, raises funds and engages in other choral events. For me HfJ showcases the power which choral music has in making the world a better place to live in.
