Meet the BEST TEAM!!! We think this page is a great way to introduce you to our BEST family - the people you trust to get you where you need to be on your most important days! This week were pleased to introduce you to Chris Doerhoff! Chris is our Director of Airport Operations & Risk Management, officially. He runs our GO BEST Express Airport Shuttle division and coordinates all of our interaction with the airport. But like everyone at BEST, he does SO MUCH more than his title implies! Chris is also the guru go-to for our reservation system, our facility management liaison, insurance claim processor, workplace safety sentry, fill-in chauffeur and, if we’re honest, kid brother who takes MERCILESS teasing from all of us. Chris started with BEST as a very part time dispatcher, working every other weekend. He was famous for arriving at work, immediately removing his socks and shoes and kicking back with feet up on the desk. Somehow, he progressed. When BEST won the airport shuttle contract in 2009, Chris was eager to lead our team in that new direction and GO BEST Express was born. This year, we received renewal of the shuttle contract from the airport and Chris is very busy orchestrating a refreshing facelift of the GO customer experience, from a new look for our brand new shuttle vans to refreshed passenger communication and a soon to be updated airport presence. The first picture here is how were used to seeing Chris. OK, well, actually, we do make him wear big boy pants to work on most days. But hes always in a GO BEST Express polo AND always pitching in, taking care of something that needs to be done. But click the second picture and holy shamolie! Today was a super busy day for BEST, so Chris pulled out his chauffeur license to help - and look how nice he cleans up! When Chris isn’t at the BEST office or the airport, you might find him underground, if you dare. He’s an active member of the National Speleological Society and is always taking off to go dropping into a pit or sliding through the mud in a cave. He is definitely a “work hard, play hard” kind of guy and a bit of a clean freak, having even been known to host cleaning parties at his house. His wife, Nicole and his best-bestie, Joe are always along for the ride to the next cave, camping trip or 4:00am White Castle visit. Chris is very special and well tolerated at BEST. We all love Chris (but won’t admit it publicly). We couldn’t do without him (yes, we could) and enjoy having him on the team (well, I don’t know about that). He’s outstanding in the field (no one wants him inside) and you can see his eagerness to please shining in his blue eyes when you meet him (not that you’d want to).
