I made the journey of my pregnancy with you alone and every night your sisters and I would talk to you. Telling you how special you were. You were our special baby. We radiated love to you. During your birth you became stuck and I was exhausted. The beautiful nursing sister delivering you waited til we were alone and said they will give you strong medication, I know you want a drug free birth. You have so many ancestors and family in spirit here in this room, waiting for her. Draw on their strength and lets bring this little girl into the world. She must be very very special to have so many helping her. She has a massive journey. I said... I know... Thats why shes taking a pause, gathering all the knowledge she can before she comes She helped me, I drew on their strength and you were born. You literally shone. Huge eyes so like your sisters. I didnt name you for six days. As with all my babies. It had to be your name....not just something I chose. Melanie....little dark one. Cara...beautiful friend. You are such an amazing person Melanie. So fragile, so strong. Loving beyond peoples comprehension. You have already had such a massive journey. Having Kaida as a young mum. Bringing our beautiful Aria to us and the incredible joy, learning, and then our immense sorrow in losing her. Your wonderful resolve, strength, dedication, determination, love and incredible tender care of your baby and your family will always have me in awe. Such an intense task in your 24/7 care. Protected, nurtured, loved. Aria had more joy, play, wonder and love in her life than most people know in 80 years. Anyone whom was privileged to witness your, Michael and Kaidas journey was amazed by all your capabilities. Your decisions....always perfect. I admire your progress since in these past weeks, , almost now completing your studies, managing your life, your family. You will always shine in your life Melanie. I feel truly blessed in being your mother, in having our wonderful, close relationship. I want this birthday to be wonderful, happy joyous, blessed.
