Melanie gave me quite a scare last night with a fever that hit 103. We were able to get it down and she got some sleep last night. Took her to the doctor today and learned she does not have Strep A or the flu. Doc suspects its another strain of strep and is treating it with antibiotics and a nasty, nasty gargle along with some Allegra-D. Soon as we got home today she hit 103 again but her fever is down again now, thank God. Poor thing has been so miserable. Thank you so much to all of you who have been in touch by phone or text and have been praying for her. Its been a long three days for us. Mama bear doesnt get to sleep when the cub is in jeopardy. lol
