Member share: Hi, in 2008 I had a work injury. I found out i have herniated l4 l5 s1 disc, arthritis in my spine, Degenerative disc, and a few other issues, basically my spine is screwed. I was 21 with a 4 year old, I went throw injection after injection. I did physical therapy for over 2 years. I did the epidural injection, facet joint injections, I had my nerves burnt I pretty much tried everything. My lawyer basically said there was nothing else that could be done & I took settlement in 2010. This was the worst mistake of my life. I live daily in pain, its the hardest in the morning for me to get out of bed my now 10 year old has to help me. I have been turned down for surgery through my insurance & I cannot afford to pay for it. I just within the last year have found out i also have a pinched nerve in my neck witch is causing my neck/arm pain. I dont know what to do at this point my family doctor refuses to see me for anything to do with my back. I am going to see an orthopedic in the middle of this month, praying something can be done. Im not sure how much longer I can handle this pain. Any suggestions that others have tried that worked? Im willing to try pretty much anything at this point, Ive been on painkillers before and Id like to try to stay away from them but they are the only thing that seems to help, nothing actually takes my pain away.
