Members of the Governors Family, I write with deep sadness to tell you that Chris Drelich, music teacher, mentor, and friend to hundreds of students, colleagues, and their families, has passed away. He was found in his home yesterday afternoon and appears to have died from natural causes. This is a terrible loss for his family and for all of those who worked with, studied under, or had the joy of making beautiful music with Chris. No arrangements have been made for a service for Chris yet, but we will certainly share those details with the community as soon as we have them. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and of each other. Even though we are not in session, I encourage you to find ways to be together and support each other in the midst of this terrible loss. If there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know. Elizabeth Ruhl, our school counselor, will be available on campus in the Duncan Phillips Library to meet with students and alumni from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday. Lynda Fitzgerald is available to speak with faculty and staff members. Laurie and I are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers as we struggle together to absorb this terrible news. In sadness, Peter Quimby 85, P14 Headmaster
