Members of the Grand Alliance, This past weekend members of the HMS Anasazi and the HMS Avalon conducted recruiting operations during the 5th Annual Albuquerque Comic Con. This was a very successful weekend of effort by the members of both ships with 1 person signing up on the spot, 13 people wanting further contact and at least 20 people who took information and may join later as they learn more of the Honorverse. While this weekend’s operation was a joint effort and thanks are given to all of those who showed up and assisted in the event, I would like to recognize one individual who worked harder than anyone else and traveled more than anyone else to help the RMN stand out at this convention. Mention in Dispatches is hereby given to Commander Dan Brandow, CO HMS Avalon. Commander Brandow drove over 1 hour each way to participate and he did this on all three days of the convention. Without his efforts and tireless devotion to the cause, we would not have been as successful as we were.
