Members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions hold a rally in Seoul Plaza outside of City Hall protesting the Park Geun-hye government’s anti-labor policies three days before the 43rd anniversary of South Korean labor activist Jeon Tae-il’s suicide by self-immolation, Nov. 10. The unionists specifically mentioned the revocation of the Korean Teachers’ and Education Workers’ Union status and the recent suicide of a Samsung service worker.
