Members of the Northeastern men’s ice hockey team joined Team IMPACT teammate Bennett Regan at the annual Great Strides Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday afternoon at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, Massachusetts. The Huskies drafted Bennett and his brother, Jameson, to the team in January through its connection with Team IMPACT, which aims to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team. Bennetts Bunch is a group of people working to raise vital money for research and awareness for cystic fibrosis. Among the Huskies in attendance on Sunday were Zach Aston-Reese, Matt Benning, Dalen Hedges, Mike McMurtry, co-captain Adam Reid, Derick Roy, assistant captain Torin Snydeman, John Stevens, Mike Szmatula and head coach Jim Madigan.
