Memorial services for Larry G. Tyler, 63 of Hawkins, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Fellowship Hall at Friendly Baptist Church with Bro. Floyd Williford officiating. A reception will follow the Memorial service at the church. Arrangements are with Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, Tyler. Larry passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Tyler. He was born March 6, 1951 in Waco to the late Floyd Gene and Clarise Helen Butler Tyler. He had lived in Tyler and McKinney before moving to Hawkins. He was a draftsman by trade, but found his true calling when he became a vendor at Canton Trades Day. When not working, Larry loved spending time with his sweet granddaughter, going fishing and being with friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his wife, Shelley Tyler of Hawkins; sons, Derrick Stuck and Patrick Stuck both of Tyler; a daughter, Amy Tyler of McKinney; his sweet granddaughter, Alena Tyler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sallye and R.C. Rife of Hide-a-way and Margie and Mike Tapley of Whitehouse.
