Memorise: “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,” (Acts 2:46). Read: Psalm 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1). Our God loves peace and orderliness. He will never dwell where there’s noise, unrest, chaos or disunity. He worked in oneness with Jesus and the Holy Spirit to create the whole world and to make man in His own likeness. He has always allowed peace an oneness to reign in His kingdom and this order of unity is the hallmark of every genuine child of God. If you have no peace with your neighbours and friends you will never get the best out of such relationship. One good thing you look out for while seeking the face of God on any issue of life is your inward peace. If your mind is not at rest, you need to pause and wait patiently on God because it’s dangerous to rush into any decision without seeking the right counsel of God. Great and marvellous things are bound to happen if brethren will live and work in unity. By this we will have one mind, same focus and approach equally our goals with a strong determination to pull one another towards success without any form of selfishness. The kingdom assignment is corporate and the goal is to get the hell-bound souls to heaven through the preaching of the word of faith. Therefore, the assignment is not for one or two, it’s for every truly born again child of God’s kingdom. At all levels, we need to cooperate one with another for the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit for adequate empowerment and successful leadership traits. If you are not of the same mind with team mates or leaders, you will cause a great havoc in the development of the kingdom project. The Apostles were jointly anointed at pentecost because they prayed in unity towards the achievement of a common goal. If your dream and aspiration is not in consonance with the corporate rule, you will find it pretty difficult to align with others and this may cause great disorderliness to the work of the kingdom. You need humility and the grace of God to stay in unity with brethren, you must not see yourself as anything but let God shine through you. Your gifts and talents are not yours but God’s. Therefore let God reign in your words, actions and attitudes within your group, cell and assembly to the intent that love and unity among brethren will be greatly promoted. “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6). God is the one making you. You are not there yet because the journey is still very far. You are totally insufficient outside the grace of God. If you will truly cooperate and live in total peace and unity among the brethren, the work will progress with time and the name of the Lord will mightily glorified. Pray with me: Father, I receive grace to work in humility and peace with my brethren. It shall not be said of me that I caused disorderliness among your people in Jesus’ name. Your works and projects will progress greatly in my time and your name will be greatly glorified
