#ก็ไม่รู้สินะ แค่ศึกษาไว้เฉยๆ พอดีมีคนขอมา เรยศึกษาไว้หน่อย สนใจไหม เพิ่ล!!! #Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer (GIFT) #Principles of GIFT GIFT is the joining of oocytes and sperm for injection through the end of a fallopian tube so fertilization can occur. Next, mitosis (cell division) and implantation occur naturally. #GIFT Procedures 1. Ovarian Stimulation is performed during the menstrual cycle by using medication, which may be either injected or inhaled, to stimulate. Doctors give careful consideration to each individual case. Ovarian stimulation medication is usually administered for approximately seven to ten days and ovarian response can be monitored mainly by ultrasound tests and blood tests to check hormone levels. After an adequate amount of large oocytes has been acquired, ovulation will be stimulated by injecting hCG and oocyte recovery will be performed after approximately thirty-four to thirty-six hours. 2. Oocyte Recovery is performed by using a needle to penetrate the ovarian sac and extract the oocytes (ova). The following two methods are currently used: 2.1 Laparoscopic ooctye recovery through the abdominal wall by using a scope to view the ovaries clearly and a needle to retrieve the oocytes directly. 2.2 Vaginal Oocyte recovery involves the use of ultrasound with a needle to penetrate and extract the oocytes attached at the end of the scope inserted vaginally. 3. For the most part, eggs and sperm are transferred into a fallopian tube by laparoscopy. The selected ova will be suctioned into a rubber tube used for transferring reproductive cells into a fallopian tube with the prepared sperm. Other methods may be used by making a small incision at the abdomen and bringing out a fallopian tube before injecting the prepared eggs and sperm directly into the fallopian tube. This method, however, is not currently popular. 4. Post GIFT Hormones – Doctors give hormones to assist with embryo implantation. 5. Pregnancy testing is performed by testing hCG levels in the bloodstream approximately twelve days after GIFT.
