Memory Lane I remember road trips when I was a kid Didn’t matter if to the beach or go see a relative They were times I will always cherish A family time in which I relish There was a bond then in my family I hold dear to my heart and fond memory I remember a trip to the Rocky Mountains A ski lift with the top its destination A red brick road laid down below At the top was a country store We hd an old green station wagon The one with on the sides wood paneling On top there was a cargo rack Oh boy I remember that thing was packed I don’t remember much else about that trip But I I do guarantee I won’t forget My father and I were the best of friends I never thought that to come to an end So if they say I can never go back again They have forgotten about memory lane
