Memphis location of Mississippi River Commission public meeting aboard Motor Vessel Mississippi changed due to river conditions MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 12, 2014 – Due to the current river stages, the Motor Vessel Mississippi will be located at the boat ramp at Greenbelt Park for the Mississippi River Commission Public Meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014. The entrance to the parking lot is at the north end of Island Drive (also known as North Mud Island Road) where it intersects with North Auction Rd. This is about 3-1/2 miles north of the originally planned location at the Mud Island Boat Ramp.
