Men, you cannot dismiss or lessen the atrocity of rape without ultimately devaluing your own present and future relationships. What this means is for those men who ignore, make light, directly or passively through resignation, deny in any way the full gravity of rape will ultimately bear a profound burden of weakened and shallow relations for the women who they presently or in the future will desire the fullness of meaningful intimacy. The intrinsic value of a woman is universal and one cannot undermine or dismiss the value of an unknown woman with out ultimately doing damage to the value of the known.
