Mental Health Tip for Students: Limit unhealthy mental habits like worrying and thinking negatively. Thinking negative thoughts about yourself and the world drain your energy, and trigger feelings of anxiety, fear, and depression. If needed, distract yourself by doing something that makes you happy. You can also try and look at the situation from a different perspective, one which leaves you feeling much better. Most of the time, there is a more positive way to view a negative situation. Tell yourself a more positive version of a negative situation to help fend off negative thinking.
