Mental health professionals are overwhelmingly liberal and anti-gun. Their science is quackery and does not deal in absolutes like engineering, physics, and chemistry, so the followers of such a philosophy are bound to get wrapped in moral relativity and drift further into liberalism, or rather the field attracts liberals on the college campuses, is taught by liberals, and refereed (peer reviewed) by liberals.
