Mentoring Moment: Prayer is not an instrument of wizardry practices to command G-d to do your every wish. He is not your bus boy, go get it, go-for-it entity to control and manipulate at your unregenerate desires. Prayer is a privilege,,,, afforded to us my the atonement work of Jesus who reconciled us to peace with G-d. We are admonished to pray always....but with understanding. King David gave us great insight and direction into prayer in Psalm 37....mit our way unto the LORD. We often call Matthew 6 The Lords Prayer, but in actually it was not the Lords prayer, it is the model he taught to assist the believer in how to pray. One of Jesus prayer is found in John 17. Let us align our selves with the Will of G-d for better results in our prayer life. Shalom
