The Three Fires Council will be conducting a Women’s Only Welding (WOW) event to train women interested in becoming Welding Merit Badge Counselors. 5-9 p.m. on Thurs., Jan. 29, 2015 Lincoln-Electric Training Facility, 115 East Crossroads Parkway, Ste A., Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Cost $15 includes pizza, salad and soft drinks As a Welding Merit Badge Counselor, you will learn safe welding techniques, develop basic skills in Flux Core Arc Welding – Shielded (FCAW-S), demonstrate the welding merit badge requirements for GMAW and FCAW-S processes & use available resources to teach the welding merit badge!
