Merry Christmas Clan Murray! Here in the US of A this McMurry family is preparing for a Scottish - themed Christmas. Unbeknownst to him, my husband is receiving the kilt (and accessories) he has wanted for the last 14 years. In honor of the extensive research I have done on his Murray line this year, we are hosting a small gathering featuring Scottish recipes on Christmas evening. The chocolate tiffin and tablet will be made later today. Preparation for my first (and simple) plum pudding began days ago. Glenfiddish is purchased. Here is my Christmas request: What dishes do you consider essential to a Scottish Christmas feast...beverages too? Please note, it is not possible to get bangers here in NC.
