Merry Christmas time! We are coming up on 8 months post transplant! I honestly NEVER thought we would be here, slowly returning to a normal life. Today we went puddle stomping, Jason and Silas splashing all along our walk. Knowing that my husband is gaining strength and endurance is such a wonderful thing to see. We had a check up on Wednesday with our bone marrow doctor and everything is coming back great! Jasons medications were adjusted and he will begin to taper off his immune suppressant. As always, with the taper comes the chance of a GVHD flair and we ask that you please pray against that. We are looking forward to Christmas and celebrating the birth of our Lord with family and friends, and of course our sweet Silas. Having a two year old makes life very tiring, and very very fun! Everything is new in his eyes and it is so much fun to experience the wonder of Christmas as he sees it. Merry Christmas! Love, Jason, Beks and Silas
