Merry Christmas to All, Day 17: Im sorry I havent been consistent in posting these--I performed in the MoTab Christmas Concert and have had finals, and that has taken almost an entire week of pure focus. ANYWAY! Todays gift is the gift of Music! Having spent the last week in rehearsals and concerts as a Musical Missionary has really taught me that music can come from the Savior, and that the Spirit has a very easy conduit through music. It can express the deepest feelings of our hearts when we dont have words or the capabilities to express that music ourselves. This is the perfect season to search out beautiful music that testifies of Jesus Christ and helps prepare us for the wonderful celebration of His birth. I am so grateful for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square and all associated, because these are people who love the Lord enough to give up hundreds and hundreds of hours every year to sing of Him. I KNOW that Jesus Christ gave us music so that we would have this unearthly joy in our lives. I am grateful for the gift of music!
