Merry Meet Friends Last night I posted about Meditation rooms and I was asked a question about the direction tat your Altar should face so I thought I would start off tonight with a followup post about Our Meditation/ Altar rooms and the directions they can face. First of all these basic rules can be followed to the letter or if you feel more comfortable you can choose to follow your heart and intuition both are perfectly fine and remember your Altar should always be in a place that you feel most peaceful and secure. You can base the direction that your Altar faces on your sign or element and its corresponding cardinal direction or you can have it facing the rising sun if your more inclined towards the Solar cycle. It is all about you and your Magickal Space. Below are a couple of charts that show the elements, the directions, and the signs that they represent. I hope that this helps all of you to find the perfect placement for your Altar. Also your meditation and yoga space doesnt need to be in the same room but it help to make that space a calm and quiet spot in your home or outside in a beautiful and natural area or your yard.
