Merry, merry Christmas to all my family, friends, and - TopicsExpress

Merry, merry Christmas to all my family, friends, and acquaintances here in our Facebook world. Regardless of your religious beliefs or mine, I hope today brings the spirit of the season and joy into your hearts and may you each and every one be blessed in the most abundant and special way by whomever our creator may be. I know there are many of us who have huge struggles in daily life including health issues, dysfunctional families, addictions, lack of financial resources, relationships, depression, loneliness, and waning spirituality. But, for this one day, I suggest we all stop for a moment and look deep within our hearts and souls and find the greatest gift of all which is HOPE and then latch onto that golden nugget of our earthly existence and strive to find simple PEACE and ample JOY, lasting LOVE and genuine HAPPINESS, and a brotherly friendship or acceptance. Its NOT easy, life is unfair, it would be easy to just give up but HOPE and FAITH is the fuel which keeps us moving forward and its even less than $2.00 a gallon ha ha. I have had a personal relationship with nearly every single one of YOU (many are family, some very close friends, childhood friends, many from school, from work, neighbors, business, etc, maybe a dozen accidentally added or unknown) and YOU are each and everyone very important to me. I care deeply for you and your happiness. I do NOT take anyone or any relationship for granted. I do apologize though for NOT being a better friend and/or family member. I could make some excuses here and blame technology and social media but wont LOL. So, these words are my gift to each of you this year, and they are from my heart. But, the greatest of these words and intent of this gift is to awaken HOPE. And, like the Starfish story, if just one is comforted by a single word, then this message was not in vane nor wasted. Much love and peace. Eddie! (Note to self)
