Mess in Govt. Degree College Kulgam. Jun 23rd, Asalamu alakum. Sir I am one of the contractual lecturers of Govt. Degree College Kulgam. The problems associated with this college are increasing with each passing day. The Principal of college has employed more than 40 local fund employees from last 2 years. Also he uses his influence to arrange those contractual lecturers who are not in merit or are not needed in the college as the existing staff is enough for students. He does not take any action against such people which results in encouragement of others. Also he is following his own dictates as 75% attendance is must to appear for the annual exam, his criteria is only 40%. Also there is huge difference in the price of items purchased for the college as the rate of items is much higher as compared to market rate. None of the employees work seriously in the college.
