Message from Aicha boukhari from the Association "AMINO". Dear friends, let me wish you a happy Eid Al Adha Two more weeks to go before one of the most important festivals of the Muslim calendar. The long-awaited occasion for families to share in laughter and happiness a boulfaf , barbecue or other chhioua according to the different customs of each of the regions and cities nationwide. For the fourth consecutive year, I reach out to you even more determined, as I feel encouraged by your generosity that has always exceeded my most optimistic hopes. This year, I am asking you that we join hands to offer a sheep to needy families of which a member is suffering from cancer. Who, what, how? Who: being in constant contact with hundreds of patients of the National Institute of Oncology in Rabat, I prepared, with the help of other volunteers, a list of people that the disease has made even poorer. In order of afford the price of a sheep, so important for their children, some of them may break their protocols. This situation would very likely put their healing process into jeopardy and their life at risk. What: we are negotiating prices for small sheep to be purchased for (around 1500 dh). How : You can participate in this operation either by buying a sheep individually or joining a group of three , four or five people who can contribute and offer a sheep to a person with cancer . A few days before Eid , benefactors will donate the sheep directly to the patients who will be carrying their identity cards and medical records of the National Institute of Oncology known as Moulay Abdellah Hospital . I think the large parking lot in front of the hospital would be a suitable place for this operation. I remain open to any suggestion you might have. I give myself the privilege to start the ball rolling with my own sheep.
