Message from Alex Wright at York Theatre Royal: Dear All, We just wanted to let you know some information about a drop in session on the 14th June – next week – at the York Council offices. As part of Le Grand Depart in 2014 Yorkshire will be hosting a 100 day Festival of Culture. The details haven’t yet been hammered out but it’s something to do with animating the route of the race and showcasing the best of the arts Yorkshire has to offer. Welcome To Yorkshire have been awarded £1m to make all this happen, so there’s hopefully some exciting ideas to be had.
