Message from Michael Rothenberg, 100,000 Poets for Change: World Conference in 2015 in Macedonia Dear 100 Thousand Poets for Change Organizers, I spoke to you all last year about the idea of having a 100 Thousand Poets for Change Global Conference of organizers in Macedonia this spring and the response was amazing! Over 50 organizers from around the world expressed interest in attending the conference. I’m sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you on this but after carefully going over the idea Terri and I have decided that it is best for us to go to Macedonia first and personally look at the facilities and talk to the organizers and officials there before asking you all to spend your money and valuable time on this. Terri and I want the 100TPC Global Conference to be great for everyone, a successful venture, and by going there we could best guarantee that. We feel it would be very difficult to plan such an extensive gathering without firsthand experience of the location. So, bottom line, we have cancelled the idea of a Global Conference in Macedonia in 2014 and hope to plan something for 2015. Mitko Gogov, the 100TPC Organizer in Macedonia, has offered to meet with us this June, to introduce us to the community there, and work on ideas and details for a great 100 TPC Conference in 2015. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you with this updated information. Terri and I thank you for your patience, and for your continued participation and support of 100 Thousand Poets for Change! I will be in touch with more details as soon as possible.
