Message from Tessa: Im alive, Im moving forward, and I will persevere. The last few days were really difficult for me as I had numerous complications regarding my medications and certain procedures. All I can say is that I owe so much gratitude to so many people. Dr. Fraser Henderson, bless that man. His love, compassion, intelligence and kindness helped figure out how to fix me and get me thrving again. Bob, his hilarious and wonderful PA, thanks for trying different things until we got it figured out. Jean White, Bless you, your heart, and your kindness, My DAD. Its not easy for a man to show compassion and softness in times of such distress, especially a good ole boy from the country in Texas, but he wiped my vomit face and lifted me up, and spoon fed me without a single complaint. To the amazing Tag Team son and mother duo Trevor and Beth, fate brought you into my life, and friendship and admiration will keep you close. Thank you all. The nurses, the doctors, the prayers, I could feel them all. And this was Just my Baltimore Crew! Raya, the flowers, and the laugh, and chefs at the hospital that made my special Mast Cell Diet and prepared my food all special for me. Thank you for not giving up on me. To my friends and family Far and wide spread all over the country and world. Thank you.To my Sister Katy, who helped spread the word via technology which i Know is annoying, and April who dedicates her time to keeping you all updated, Rabekkah, Bridget, all the prayers, thank you, and Jane who is loving my dog for me until I can againMichaela Henderson WIthout you I wouldve never made it on that plane to Baltimore. You were the wind beneath my broken wrings. Leanne and Whitley, Smith, I love you.And to my angel mother who watched over me, she gave me life, and kept me close and safe the whole time. I walked today. I will never take for granted a single moment of this complicated, often painful, bizarre, crazy, life. EDS or not its forward ever backward never...Today I found out I will need another surgery soon. Thats ok. With support like this, I will end up better than ever. I love you all so much. my friend and fellow EDS warrior said it Best Its Been a long time coming. A change gon come.- Tessa
